Camping Le Pigeonnier is a 3-star family campsite with a water park located in a wooded area in the heart of Périgord Noir, just 10 km from Sarlat. In addition to campsites, the campground also rents out mobile homes. On-site, you can enjoy a beautiful water park with a heated outdoor pool, a paddling pool, and three water slides. The sporty holidaymaker can entertain themselves with a game of football, volleyball, badminton, or tennis. For the little ones, there is a fun playground where they can play safely and make new friends. The campsite also offers a mini-golf course, fitness room, and boules court. During the summer holidays, children can join two clubs – one for ages 4-12 and another for teens aged 12-17.

The campsite is a 10-minute drive from the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat. This medieval town has cozy alleys, historical monuments, and charming squares. Every Wednesday and Saturday, there is a market where delicious local products are sold. Other beautiful villages nearby include Beynac-et-Cazenac (21.1 km), Vitrac (21.3 km), and La Roque-Gageac (26.3 km). The Lascaux caves (20.2 km) are also highly recommended to visit. These caves feature prehistoric wall paintings that are over 17,000 years old.
