Camping Le Pont d’Allagnon

Camping Le Pont d’Allagnon is a small-scale campsite in the Auvergne region, bordering a small river and within walking distance of a village. The camping pitches are located on a 2-hectare site and are suitable for tents, caravans, and campers. Additionally, you can book bungalow tents and lodge tents. Furthermore, it is possible to stay in a chalet or mobile home year-round. In the summer, the swimming pool is a popular spot for relaxation for both young and old. Sports enthusiasts can also enjoy themselves with a game of volleyball, soccer, and tennis. For a tasty ice cream, cold drink, or a simple meal, you can visit the campsite’s snack bar. There is also a small shop where you can purchase local products.

Camping in the Auvergne

You can reach the village of Lempdes-sur-Allagnon via a bridge, where you can find various facilities such as a bakery, pizzeria, butcher, bank, pharmacy, and multiple restaurants. Not far from the campsite, you will find the beautiful Château de Léotoing, an impressive medieval castle that is worth visiting. For nature enthusiasts, it is also recommended to explore the beautiful Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d’Auvergne (Natural Park of the Auvergne Volcanoes). The park is very impressive and unique because it used to be one of the most active volcanic areas. Even today, you can still easily recognize former volcanoes, and a trip to the most famous volcano, the ‘Puy de Dôme,’ is a must-see. This mountain is 1,465 meters high and offers a stunning view of the surroundings.
