Camping Les Bruyères
Camping Les Bruyères is a tranquil campsite located on the outskirts of the village of La Clayette in the southern part of Burgundy. At the campsite, you can rent camping pitches, chalets, pods, and bungalow tents. Both young and old can enjoy themselves in the summer at the adjacent municipal swimming pool, complete with water slides, a toddler pool, and an outdoor pool. Guests of the campsite have free access. Additionally, there is a playground, a petanque court, and a home-ball court. During the peak season, various activities are organized, such as bingo, dance evenings, and sports tournaments. If you don’t feel like cooking, you can order delicious meals to go from the snack bar.

The campsite is located 800 meters from the center of La Clayette. Here, you can find several cozy dining options, shops, and a supermarket. Moreover, the village boasts a beautiful Medieval castle that you should definitely visit. Built in 1380, it is situated on the edge of a lake. During the tour, you will visit the courtyard, the medieval kitchens, the 15th-century Paray tower, and the orangery. Additionally, just a few meters from the campsite is Lake La Clayette. This is a delightful spot for walking, picnicking, fishing, and rowing.
