Camping les Magnanas
Camping les Magnanas is a delightful campsite located on the banks of the Dordogne River, in the heart of the Périgord Noir. The shaded camping pitches are spacious and accommodate tents, caravans, and motorhomes. It is also possible to book a safari tent, glamping tent, mobile home, or apartment. For entertainment, there is a volleyball court, petanque area, and table tennis table. Children can also enjoy themselves in the playground. The campsite is located by its own pebble beach where you can swim in the river. On the terrace, you can enjoy a cold drink, ice cream, or delicious cocktail. In July and August, food trucks are also present several days a week to pick up a meal. Fresh bread rolls are available for purchase every morning.
Villages and Caves in the Dordogne
The campsite is only a few minutes’ drive from the charming village of Beynac-et-Cazenac. Visit the beautiful medieval castle of Beynac, perched on a cliff overlooking the Dordogne River. The castle offers a fascinating insight into the history of the region. Additionally, explore the famous Lascaux caves (38 km). These prehistoric cave paintings are over 17,000 years old and are incredibly unique to see. Other beautiful villages in the area include La Roque-Gageac (3.6 km), Domme (8.8 km), Sarlat-la-Canéda (11.4 km), and Montignac (37 km).
