Camping Les Vernières La Bourboule Sancy

Camping Les Vernières in La Bourboule is an eco-campsite on the edge of the Dordogne in the Puy-de-Dôme in Auvergne. The campsite is open in both summer and winter with a shuttle to the ski slopes of Mont Dore. The camping pitches are marked out and spacious. There are three sanitary buildings with free hot water. One of the buildings is heated, which is ideal in winter. In addition to traditional camping, you can also opt for a holiday in one of the chalets, eco-lodges, eco-cabins, a yurt or a large caravan.  In the snack bar, you will find snacks for when you’re feeling peckish, as well as fresh bread and, of course, French croissants and chocolate rolls. There is also a launderette on the campsite where you can iron your clothes. Children will have a great time in the playground, where they can climb and clamber on the various play equipment. There is also a trampoline and a bouncy castle. The sports field is suitable for various ball sports. The campsite also has a table tennis table and table football. During the holidays, Les Vernières campsite organises theme nights, concerts and karaoke evenings for young and old. There are a number of donkeys on the campsite that the little ones can ride.

From Les Vernières campsite, you can walk along a footpath to the water park in La Bourboule. Among other things, there is a water slide, hot tub, solarium, sauna and hammam. Take the ski lift to the Charlannes plateau, where you can ski, hike and mountain bike. Want to relax after a day of sightseeing? You can do so at Les Grands Thermes. In winter, you can go on beautiful trips with a sledge and huskies. Summer is ideal for climbing and scrambling through the trees at Mont Dore Aventures.
