Camping Sandaya du Truc Vert
Camping Sandaya du Truc Vert is a large campsite located in a pine forest in the Gironde, 300 meters from the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. The camping pitches are situated in a shaded area and are suitable for setting up your own tent, caravan, or camper. For some sports and relaxation, there is a volleyball court, a ping-pong table, and a petanque court available. Children can have fun in the playground, and a fun activity program is offered. For snacks and drinks, you can visit the snack bar.
Vacation on the Atlantic Coast
Within a few minutes’ walk from the campsite, you will find a large sandy beach on the Atlantic coast. Here, you can enjoy swimming, bask in the sun, and take walks along the sea. Be sure to explore the famous Dune du Pilat, the largest sand dune in Europe. Climb the dune for a stunning view of the surroundings. Additionally, it’s highly recommended to visit the beautiful city of Bordeaux (52 km). Stroll through the charming streets of the historic city center, admire the magnificent buildings along the Garonne River quayside, and visit some of the famous landmarks, such as the Place de la Bourse and the Cathedral of Saint-André.
