Camping on the Côte de Granit Rose
Would you like to explore the area around Perros-Guirec and the Côtes-d’Armor? Then we recommend a relaxing walk along the customs building past the famous pink granite rocks ‘Granit Rose’ of Ploumanac’h. For the more athletic holidaymakers, a mountain bike ride along the beautiful coastline is highly recommended, or hire a kayak and admire nature from the sea. The old fishing port of Perros-Guirec is now a modern seaside resort with thalassotherapy, a casino and tennis. With no less than 13 km of coastline and 3 large sandy beaches, this is an unforgettable holiday destination in Brittany. A few kilometres from the pink granite coast lies an unspoilt archipelago of seven islands, home to a wide variety of seabirds and one of the most important ornithological reserves in France. Depart from Perros-Guirec by sloop to see the many species up close. Visit the harbour town of Paimpol with its marina, the 800-year-old Beauport Abbey and the Le Trieux steam train, which are also well worth a visit.
