Camping Trélachaume at Lake Vouglas

Trélachaume is a peaceful family campsite nestled in nature where you can fully enjoy a vacation in the Jura. It features a heated swimming pool and a paddling pool for young children. From the pool, you have a view over Lake Vouglans and the Jura Mountains. On the terrace of the bar next to the pool, you can enjoy drinks, ice cream, and coffee under the shade of thatched umbrellas.

During peak season, both young and old can enjoy family-friendly entertainment such as cooking workshops, petanque tournaments, volleyball and table tennis tournaments, shows, guided hikes, movie nights, outdoor games, and children’s workshops.

Facilities at the campsite

On-site amenities include a bakery, grocery store, restaurant, bar, and more. Supermarkets and other shops are located 5 km from the campsite. Guests have access to a heated swimming pool, playground, volleyball court, recreation room, and children’s play area. For a quick meal (fries, pizzas, etc.), the bar-restaurant is available. You can also use the small supermarket and bread and pastry service. During peak season, there is entertainment for all ages. A marina and the lake are 800 meters away. Fishing is possible in the lake. The marina can be reached from the campsite via a steep path on foot or by road with free parking next to the beach.

Camping Trélachaume is located in the southern Jura in the heart of the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park, between Orgelet and Moirans-en-Montagne. The campsite offers stunning views of Lake Vouglans, the third largest reservoir in France (35 km long).

Lake Vouglans

Camping Trélachaume is situated in the lake area of the Jura on Lac Vouglans. Lake Vouglans is one of the largest reservoirs in France and offers numerous water sports opportunities and a beautiful sandy beach with a grassy area. The beach is 800 meters from the campsite. Swimming is supervised in summer, and the water temperature is around 25-26 degrees Celsius. The turquoise water is perfect for swimming. In July and August, boats, canoes, and pedal boats can be rented. The harbor of La Mercantine is 800 meters from Trélachaume.
