Capfun – Parc De La Grenouillère
Camping Le Parc de La Grenouillère is located between the many castles of the Loire and between the towns of Blois and Chambord. The campsite welcomes you to an 11-hectare park and rents out mobile homes and camping pitches. The campsite has 3 swimming pools, a paddling pool for the little ones, 3 slides and a Spacebowl! Gastronomy, vineyards, a rich history, exceptional nature… In the Loire Valley, you can visit many places that are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Discover the castles of Chambord, Chaumont, Blois, Cheverny and Chenonceau, which will take you back in time and allow you to enjoy the architectural and historical richness of these buildings. Take advantage of the many sporting activities on offer, such as canoeing/kayaking down the Loire or mountain biking to the castles. The town of Blois is a 15 km bike ride from the campsite. This royal town (the castle was inhabited by Louis XVII) is well worth a detour. A royal ride will take you through the town to the birthplace of another kind of king: the famous magician Houdin, king of illusion. Finally, you can take the opportunity to visit Beauval Zoo and the ‘house of magic’.
