Château Bellegarde les Fleurs is a small-scale castle in Châteauneuf-la-Forêt (Haute-Vienne) located in the woods near a beautiful castle with chambres, gîtes and safari tents. In the middle of the castle garden is a large swimming pool. The swimming pool is fenced off for safety reasons. Children can enjoy themselves in the swimming pool and in the fun play area. There is a trampoline, a table tennis table and a fishing pond (also for boating) in the adjacent forest. If the weather is not so good, the children can do crafts and play together in the orangery. In the orangery, you can also enjoy a cup of coffee, croque-monsieurs, fresh salads and chips. In the morning, you can get fresh baguettes and croissants here. Once a week, a buffet or barbecue is organised for all guests.

The communal dinners make it easy to get to know the other guests. There are also gîtes and chambres for rent on the estate. The gîtes and rooms are located in an annex. You share a very spacious courtyard with plenty of furniture for sunbathing and dining.

Fun outings in the Haut-Vienne

The Haute Vienne is located in the Limousin (central France), approximately 950 km from Utrecht. It is a beautiful, green, hilly area that has not yet been overrun by tourism. There are several protected nature reserves where you can enjoy walking and cycling. The reception has plenty of brochures to help you plan a different activity every day. For nature lovers, there are various walking and mountain bike routes across the estate. The large city of Limoges is 45 km away. Discover the old butchers’ quarter, porcelain shops, Gothic cathedral, the Aquarium du Limousin and the Musée national Adrien Dubouché (for ceramics, glass and porcelain), and the Musée municipal de l’Evêché with its beautiful collection of enamelled reliquaries and crosses. A 30-minute drive away, you will find a climbing forest in Vassivière. There are two courses for younger children and five courses for older children.
