Bed & Breakfast with Breakfast Menu

Be enchanted by the historic “Hallenhuis” farmhouse Zonnehoeve, dating back to 1929. The cozy Bed & Breakfast rooms, named “Boszicht” and “Weidezicht,” offer comfort and relaxation. With en-suite bathrooms, these rooms are waiting for you to enjoy a pleasant stay soon. Start your day with our extensive breakfast menu, composed of various local products and seasonal treats. From farmhouse cheeses to homemade meat dishes, our breakfast is a delightful beginning to your day.

Mini Campsite: Natural Peace and Comfort

Behind the farmhouse and our own vineyard lies our quiet and natural mini-campsite. With 30 spacious grassy pitches, equipped with water and electricity, it’s the ideal spot for nature enthusiasts. In the future, Erve Zonnehoeve will feature tastefully furnished tents such as the Apollo 5 and the trekking tent Apollo 3, both from De Waard tents. Our own KIP caravan will also find its place on the campsite.

Vineyard: Refined Tasting Experience

Step into our Tasting Room and let yourself be tempted by a wine tasting featuring exquisite wines from the Achterhoek, made from grapes grown in our own vineyard. Planted by the Roth family in 2009, our vineyard now boasts around 1500 vines. The surrounding nature and the use of English chestnut wood give our vineyard a unique charm. On Saturdays, you can participate in a vineyard tour, followed by a wine tasting in our Tasting Room, featuring fine Achterhoek wines made from grapes of our own vineyard, such as Cabernet Cortis, Marechal Foch, and Solaris.

Erve Zonnehoeve is strategically located between the villages of Vorden, Ruurlo, and Hengelo Gld, allowing you to easily enjoy hiking and cycling routes, including the famous “Achtkastelenroute Vorden” (Eight Castles Route Vorden). The historic Hanseatic city of Zutphen is also within cycling distance. Our direct neighbors are the estate ‘t Zelle, and the walking paths here are accessible every day from sunrise to sunset. The long-distance hiking trails, Pieterpad and Trekvogelpad, pass by our location, offering adventurous possibilities.
