Holidays at Camping Les Sablons

We are very enthusiastic about the charming 5-star Les Sablons campsite in the south of France. Of all the Roan campsites in France, this is one of our favourites. The campsite is located directly on the beach and has a beautiful swimming paradise, lots of activities and green surroundings. You will soon understand what we mean. Upon arrival at Camping Les Sablons, you will first pass a few cosy shops selling fruit, vegetables and regional wine from the barrel. The Roan rental accommodations are then located in the car-free parks of the campsite.

Swimming pools and water slides

You can see the swimming pool from the shaded entrance. Children will certainly enjoy the slides in this pool. They come in all shapes and sizes, so there is a suitable slide for every age! You will also find an open-air wellness area (18+) and an extra spacious sun terrace! There is also an indoor swimming pool, so you can go swimming even when the weather is not so good. And how about an aquarobics class?

Children under 1.30 m must be accompanied by an adult on the slides. On the large slide, you must hold your child in front of you. On the small slide, you can slide down side by side. Is your child under 10 years old? Then adult supervision is mandatory. You do not have to be with your child at all times, but you must be in or near the swimming pool. The fine sandy beach is right next to the campsite, so when the sun is shining, this is definitely the place to be.

Facilities at the campsite

Camping Les Sablons organises many activities, most of which are free of charge. You can play tennis, work out in the gym and try your hand at archery, and children aged 5 and above can join the mini club. There is also a playground and various sports tournaments are organised. The campsite also has a supermarket, several cosy shops, a bar and a restaurant where you can also get takeaway meals. Older teenagers can go to the disco until the early hours of the morning, which is soundproofed so as not to disturb the other campsite guests.

Surroundings of the campsite and Cap d’Agde

Camping Les Sablons is located near Portiragnes-Plage, a small but charming village with various eateries and souvenir shops. Several times a week there is a nice market, which starts right next to the campsite. Near Les Sablons you can go horse riding, water skiing or take surfing lessons. In the seaside resort of Cap d’Agde, about a 20-minute drive from the campsite, you will find Aqualand, a water park for the whole family. You can also go deep-sea diving or visit the large aquarium. A wine discovery tour, during which you visit various ‘caves’ and taste wines, is also one of the possibilities during your holiday. Or visit a ‘poterie’ along the road, where you can find nice flower pots and other ceramic souvenirs from the region for those at home. The old town of Béziers is also worth a visit!
