Discover Drenthe
Approximately a 20-minute drive from the tiny house lies the Dwingelderveld, a beautiful nature reserve in the southwest of Drenthe. The area consists of heathlands, numerous ponds, and lush forests. You can enjoy hiking and cycling through the natural surroundings. With a bit of luck, you might spot unique wildlife such as adders, various butterfly species, and roe deer. The province is also known for its Hunebedden (megalithic tombs). The Hunebed Centre in Borger offers an in-depth look into the history of these monuments.
