Tiny House in Fochteloo
This charming tiny house is located on the grounds of a care farm in Friesland and overlooks the fields. The cottage can accommodate four adults and two children. The kitchenette is equipped with a gas stove, pots, dishes, kettle, and coffee maker. The modern bathroom consists of a shower, sink, and toilet. Outside, you’ll find a picnic table where you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine during the summer. The property where the tiny house is situated has an animal pasture with alpacas, miniature cows, and ponies.
Discover the Drents Friese Wold
The cottage is just a few kilometers away from the Drents Friese Wold, a nature reserve on the border of Friesland and Drenthe. The landscape is characterized by dense forests, green heathlands, and vast sand dunes. It’s a beautiful area for lovely walks or bike rides. The park offers about a hundred kilometers of sandy trails and dozens of kilometers of hiking trails. You can also spot some unique wildlife such as buzzards, deer, and salamanders in the park.
