Natuurlijk de Veenhoop is located in the centre of Friesland between Heerenveen, Drachten and Leeuwarden, surrounded by nature parks and Frisian waters. It is a friendly campsite with boat hire and its own harbour. Two beautiful nature reserves surround the campsite. The old Venen, which can be admired both on foot and from the water, and the Kraanlanden. This is a peaceful and diverse nature reserve where all elements of Frisian nature come together: peat extraction, reed beds and beautiful panoramic views over the countryside. Otters also live in this area. The campsite has spacious camping pitches with electrical hook-ups and several chalets. The clean sanitary building is within walking distance of all camping pitches. Natuurlijk de Veenhoop is a car-free campsite, so children can play freely on the campsite.
