Old-fashioned camping without the fuss! On our estate Château de la Perche in the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne, we have a beautiful small & cosy campsite with 6 spacious pitches, located in the woods of Château la Perche in the Combrailles region (9 hours from Utrecht). Just basic camping in a unique spot in the middle of France. In July and August, we offer a bread service at our nature campsite, and our village baker provides delicious croissants, coffee rolls, baguettes and brown bread. There are sanitary facilities with two hot showers (free of charge), and the site has a fire pit for general use and a refrigerator.

Farm animals & playground for children

Pets are not allowed because there are many farm animals roaming freely on the campsite and on the estate, including chickens and peacocks. For children, there is a separate playground with a trampoline, badminton, football pitch and swings. We have collected a lot of information about the region for our guests and can tell you all about what there is to do. Our B&B has lots of brochures available and we have put together many beautiful routes for cycling, driving, mountain biking or walking.

Beautiful swimming lake and river

A beautiful swimming lake with sandy beaches is located 5 minutes from Camping Château de la Perche, and the Sioule River is 18 minutes away. A beautiful gorge where you can swim, fish and go white-water canoeing. From the campsite, you can walk straight into the woods, where there are many walking, cycling and mountain biking routes. Everyone is free to collect wood in our own forest for a small campfire at the campsite.

Camping pitches based on family rates for 2 adults and 2 children in high season: £25 per day excluding electricity (+ £3.75 per day) minimum stay 5 nights. You can use the internet free of charge on the terrace of Château la Perche.
