Camping Gyvelborg
Camping Gyvelborg is a small ecological farm campsite in the hills of Central Jutland with Dutch owners. You can place your camping equipment around the lake or near the playground where children can have fun. There are also several cabins on the site that you can rent. The farm is home to Jersey cows, calves, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, and a dog. At the campsite, you can pet the animals, play in the straw, and enjoy walks along the nature trail. Various fun activities are also organized, such as cooking pancakes over the fire and Easter egg hunts.
Camping in Central Jutland
In the vicinity of the campsite, there is a lot to see and do. Embark on an adventure to Givskud Zoo, also known as “Løveparken” (Lion Park). This zoo offers the opportunity to see wild animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and more. You can even take a safari tour to get closer to the animals. Central Jutland also has many lakes where you can fish, swim, canoe, and kayak. Additionally, you can take day trips to nearby cities like Herning and Vejle. Moreover, the region is a beautiful area for hiking and cycling through the nature of Denmark.
