Hvalpsund Family Camping
Hvalpsund Family Camping is a peaceful family campground located on the edge of a fjord in the North Jutland region. The campground sits on a child-friendly beach by the water and also features its own swimming pool. For the children, there is a playground with climbing equipment, a go-kart track, a soccer field, and entertainment during the high season. The campground primarily offers camping pitches, but there are also some rental accommodations available. The Scandinavian cabins are perfect for those who want to enjoy a bit more comfort.

Paddleboards and canoes are available for rent at the campground for a trip on the beautiful Limfjord. If you get hungry and crave something delicious, the café in the square is the place to go for snacks and simple dinners. The food can be enjoyed indoors with a television, on the square with seating, or as a takeaway meal. There is also a small shop with daily necessities, snacks, and ice cream. During the high season, fresh bread rolls are sold by order, and there are occasional performances at the bar.

1.5 kilometers from the campground, you’ll find Hvalpsund Golf Club, one of the most beautiful golf courses with views of both the Limfjord and Lake Louns. Fishing enthusiasts can visit Fiskegaarden, where two fishing lakes are located. From Hvalpsund, you can take the ferry to the coastal town of Sundsøre, where you can visit a brewery and purchase delicious cheeses. Furthermore, North Jutland is a true destination for hiking and cycling, with many marked routes. If you’re in the mood for some liveliness and culture, drive to the city of Aalborg with its picturesque streets, charming shops, and restaurants.
