La Petitière, cozy mini campsite in Normandy
La Petitière is a holiday paradise for adults (adults-only camping) in Normandy. Come and enjoy a cozy holiday in one of our fully equipped vintage Chateau caravans, on one of our 4 spacious (300 sqm) fenced camping pitches, or in the fantastic gîte. Our mini-campsite is located in the rolling French countryside of Normandy, amidst fields and meadows at the end of a dead-end road. There are apple and pear trees on our grounds.
Adults Camping in Normandy
We cater to adults and are also dog-friendly. Therefore, all our pitches are fenced so that dogs can roam freely. Dogs are welcome if they meet the rules stated on the website. Additionally, this summer, there is a masseuse at the campsite (2 times a week). If you love tranquility, nature, hiking, cycling, conviviality, and exploring interesting places, then you are in the right place at La Petitière for a wonderful vacation.
Snacks and drinks at the outdoor bar
When we first saw this ruin, it was clear: it will become a terrace with an outdoor bar. And so it happened. The bar is located next to the fenced dog play area. So while your dog has fun, you can enjoy a snack or a drink. From olives to a French snack platter with a glass of wine or cider. Or a fresh baguette with camembert. Table d’hôtes: Every week in July and August, we organize a communal BBQ or dinner.

Castles and medieval castle ruins, unspoiled nature for walks where you sometimes won’t encounter anyone for hours, waterfalls in Mortain, oysters in Cancale, a visit to Le Mont-Saint-Michel, or the bustling town of Bagnoles-de-l’Orne? There is a map available for guests at the campsite, where you can find a fun excursion or hike for each day.
